. When testing it with my own game on the nexus7, the result is slightly
improved:
- when run in portrait mode, things seem to work correctly

Yep, this is intentional. The menubar addon broke with a recent API
change, and I'm no longer going to spend time updating it (especially as
it's becoming more difficult to support a binary addon, and each fix
just feels like another sticking plaster). So it's disabled now. The
plan is to support
swapoff workaround and killing patrman workaround didn't work for
me. I have 1 SDD and 1 HDD on board, installing from USB Flash Drive.
