I experienced the same bug, when /etc/network/interfaces was configured for dynamic ip. After I configured /etc/network/interfaces to static ipv4 address, the problem was resolved. So it seems that Samba binds only to local address, before the dhcp client received a address from the dhcp

The problem for me was that my boot partition was full so that needed to be resolved before this issue could be resolved. This was done using dpkg -l 'linux-image-*' | grep '^ii' to list all of the kernels and then sudo apt-get purge linux-image-3... to purge the oldest three or four kernels.
