I believe this is not really a GTK bug (even though it probably was

Here's one more data point:
I have Realtek PCI adapter that lspci reports as Realtek Semiconductor Co.,
Ltd. RTL8188CE 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter (rev 01).
It uses the rtl8192ce driver. With the default driver and firmware supplied by
Ubuntu 13.04 (linux-image-3.8.0-23-generic, 3.8.0-23.34;
I forgot to mention that prior to that, I also tested the backports
driver from `backports-3.10-rc1-2.tar.bz2`. It did not improve the
situation. Of course, this was still with the sha1 4fc1e72c5f8...
firmware bundled with Ubuntu 13.04.

music file (I don’t think the type of file is relevant here) in Nautilus, Totem
is not launching anything. After about ten seconds, I usually retry. This

Hi, I'm running into the same issue, first on 13.04 now 12.10. I'm
making this a dual boot with win7 and this is my nth attempt to get

Having the same problem here, except it's resetting to the *top-most*
dictionary in the right-click menu (which happens to be French) every
time. As a quadrilingual that's a bit of a pain.
I haven't been able to figure out how to reproduce it reliably, though.
