Hi, this just happened again now. What I did was log out my user, then
logged back in. mission-control then started, and top said its user was
was GDM, and it kept using 100% of a CPU. (There also was a crash in
network manager when I logged back in.)

The ubuntustudio installs only the lowlatency kernel, but when upgraded
the generic kernel gets added and also becomes the default kernel. This
makes lowlatency audio recording not work. The generic kernel should not
be installed.

Ubuntu 13 fails to connect to any WPA security.

This is not a bug, but rather is intentional. The at(1) manpage
explains:
"As at is currently implemented as a setuid program, other environment
variables (e.g. LD_LIBRARY_PATH or LD_PRELOAD) are also not exported."

recent saucy azure images have files in /var/lib/cloud/seed/nocloud-net.
This makes cloud-init find the nocloud-net datasource and not the azure
datasource.
$ cat var/lib/cloud/seed/nocloud-net/meta-data
instance_id: azure-cloud_img-%s-a57e684a-d548-4ed0-9a26-f56ca06d3bef
Sill happening using Vbox 4.2.16 and both Ubuntu 12.04 and 13.04.
Disabling mouse integration the pointer is invisible.
