tarballs are actually totally different shapes (tar-in-tar vs. plain

When using OpenNX client with FreeNX server, printing support via cups
is prevented by apparmor settings that prevent access to
$HOME/.nx/*/cupsd.
Modifying the apparmor configuration settings for cupsd resolves the
problem:

the problem is that /run/user/1000/dconf/user owner is being changed to
root.

I don't have the drive anymore but I was able to recover all the files, I did
change some strange names in folders that where not there originally and copied
back and fourth until all showed up.
Originally the files were in a btrfs volume that for sure messed up the folders.

Launching track from dash new instance of app, not re-use of existing

It seem to me that this is a strange problem. After suspend, there is no
resume. The strange thing is that after installing a new kernelpackage
it work as it should for 2 or 3 times, the it start failing again.

Hallo
The problem start when I was trying to open a mail. With that mail Evolution
crashes.
Apport tells me that I have obsolete package, then I update the system, but not
solve, Evolution continue to crash opening that email.
Now probably when start it try to open that

Turned on computer for first time in about a week.
Backup started going, but I was using my internet connection and didn't want
the backup to go.
Right click icon in classic gnome shell and selected Skip Backup.
Within 10 minutes, it was trying to prepare another backup...

By the way, ondemand mode using the acpi-cpufreq driver is working fine
on my computer with a 3.11 kernel.

I had the same problem but I installed the 3.8.36.41 and now the
computer is not freeze anymore, however my computer now is power off...
yes is power off when the computer is under heavy ram usage. I disabled
zram (sudo service zram-config stop) and the computer not power off in
the same scenario.
