hope this is correct.
It is only the WiFi that I have found is able to be turned on and off
using Fn+F11 running 3.11.0-14 but it is slow to respond and often takes
several attemps. It has always been possible to turn WiFi on

I have a similar problem on my Dell Precision M6500. Runnign 13.04,
with binary nvidia driver 331.20. It mostly seems to happen after I've
turned the computer on and logged in, OR after waking from suspend.

As in the title. In the 'Recent documents' submenu all filenames have the
underscore ( '_' character ) cut out. Of course, if the filename has one so.
I know it's just estetics. But I thought it would be worth mentioning.

I have a vertical screen on the left and an horizontal screen on the
right.
When I switch inputs for the screen on the right and I ssh x2x to the
corresponding machine, I can only reach an area equal to the shape of my
two screens, rescaled to fit into the screen on the right.

Confirming clean shutdown on trusty after applying the patch in
/etc/init.
Also confirming clean shutdown on precise after applying the patch in
/etc/init. Although the patch applies with a small fuzz so not
applicable to the precise package exactly as is.

With my configuration, UEFI and BIOS mode on my mother board GIGABYTE
