Through Raring and Saucy, my two modifications to the given LTSP-PNP
setup have been:
In /etc/dnsmasq.d/network-manager replace the bind-interfaces line
with a bind-dynamic line.
Edit /etc/dnsmasq.d/ltsp-server-dnsmasq.conf: comment out the port=0
line
And those two mods still work for me in

the jacks are working properly and active simultaneously and the sound

I noticed that when using an external monitor and disabling the one on
my laptop, the flickering only occurs very rarely. Also , when enabling
both screens, the flickering is much more severe.

I have a NP900X3C-A01FR also affected since 13.10.
It was working like a charm on 13.04 (never notice the issue), but after
a SSD remplacement and a full reinstall to 13.10 I'm also affected by
this weard bug.
Adapter status is reported correctly, but not the battery status.

ramgorur, sure. If testing the live environment of Lucid wouldn't work
out, you could install a Lucid kernel in your current install via
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/KernelBisection#Bisecting_Ubuntu_kernel_versions
and then remove it immediately after.

I already tried purging lightdm but still no difference. Even manually

2.6.32 upstream: controller listed but not working (see related kernel bug,
43274)
3.4.0 upstream: same issue
3.2 Ubuntu: same issue
3.8 Ubuntu: same issue
3.13-rc3 upstream: same issue
