The patch seems reasonable to me. I don't know of any situation where
bdb/hdb/mdb create subdirectories under /var/lib/ldap, only files.

Is there any workaround for this yet? I'm on a 14.04 install up-to-date,
and I can confirm this bug for me:
pm-utils commands work just fine (except that they don't include the
screen-locking for security, but they suspend and hibernate perfectly).

I am using evince under XFCE4 (xubuntu) with apparmore. Every time I
start it the desktop complains about rule violations, i.e. evince
reading /etc/xfce4/defaults.list .
Should be allowed in
/etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.evince

hi, i've already mentioned this in a duplicate, yes, pinned tabs are the
first ones to disappear.

If you consider using SMPlayer as a workaround, I think you could better
upgrade to VLC 2.2, which solved the problem for me:

Yes the patch appeared to work, we merged it to the Ubuntu dev packages and it
worked for some people.
The sector size was still an issue in some setups as windows appeared to use
both 512 and 1024 byte sectors sizes.
