FYI, the problem seems to be that ubiquity is running things in parallel
and/or in the wrong order. Specifically, it is running the partman
visual.d scripts first, which add the new partitions, and then the
init.d scripts after, which detect the newly added partitions and thinks
they are existing
OK. So this is somewhat expected behavior under certain conditions. If
you have an account created with a version of ubuntuone-credentials
prior to 14.04+15.04.20150120 on vivid or 14.04+15.04.20150122~rtm on
the RTM image, then that account will not have the "unconfined" ACL
needed to work corr
David's comments are about bug #1413655 and not this bug. I am pretty
certain this bug is fixed by the changes which cause that bug.

@Martin, yes that would be nice, but we don't have a system service with
a dbus API and local cache to use for this. The system-settings update
plug-in doesn't provide that. If you're referring to some other
process/service which does provide that, it is not on the phone image
AFAIK.

3000 too. Ich replaced the window manager and now everything works just fine.

Looks like there were unsupported third party packages installed on the
system: "openoffice-debian-menus". Dont do that, if you are not sure how
to handle those. To reinstall LibreOffice, you need to get rid off those
third party stuff.

Hmm, possible regression introduced by this fix: after I complete a UEFI
mode install, and then run:
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
I get a message that that "linux-signed-image-generic-lts-utopic" was
automatically installed and is no longer required, can be removed with
"apt-

Accepted efibootmgr into utopic-proposed. The package will build now and
be available at
http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/efibootmgr/0.7.0-2ubuntu0.14.10.1 in
a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
