When a drive containing packages - for example a bootable Ubuntu
pendrive - is inserted, a window appears that is not localized, even if
it's strings are extracted correctly into the po files.
This is because the main() function does not contain the necessary
bindtextdomain
Just wanted to provide some further info in case it makes tracking down the
issue easier:
* The issue is still present on my desktop PC
* I work on the same qtcreator projects on a Thinkpad X220 with Intel graphics
and Gnome and this issue does not happen there.
* The hang also happens when I
Gimp is also, for now, limited to srgb, so anything coming from gimp
will work fine with cairo.
And, for a postscript printer, jpegs should be converted directly to ps,
not via pdf, so that wouldn't matter either.
But if you used a workflow which used, say, AdobeRGB as the colour

Here is what I see. I use FVWM and the results are even worse. This

I manually downloaded bikeshed_1.42-0ubuntu1_all.deb package from 14.04,
extracted it, ran sudo usr/bin/purge-old-kernels.
It works as expected.
So the purge-old-kernels script may be successfully included to 12.04

I don't think the virtual package handling CacheSetHelperAPTGet provides
is really needed (nor even wanted) for download or changelog, so we can

I cannot reproduce this on my trusty machine. Looks like a video driver
issue to me.
What video card are you guys using? Can you reproduce the problem on a
computer with a different video card? Is the driver for the video card
proprietary?
