Since I was going back and forth between nouveau and the proprietary
nvidia driver for testing this bug, I ended up creating this bug report
while the proprietary nvidia driver was loaded. I don't know if that

The problem here is that mediaplayer-app is not designed to be a library
- that is - it doesn't own content and allow users to pick the content
they want to play. It's basically a player only and eventually will be
depracted for a system wide media "viewer" that can be invoked from
anywhere.
