Chris: confirming this bug most likely fixed indeed by
1:2014.1.5-0ubuntu3, as there has been no further alerts from missing
tun_ids since it got installed 1 week ago (recall we had been getting
several of those per week).
Thanks! :) --J

I've tested this backported driver for basic functionality - boots, can
connect to the interface, ran iperf tests and several flent tests - but
I can't reproduce this problem, so I can't test to verify this backport
and updated firmware actually fixes it.
Anyone who can reproduce this problem, ple

Basically, we're falling back to software compositing on Freiza for a
couple of reasons:
- We don't set up a share context on devices where Chromium uses virtual GL
contexts (essentially, all client-side GL contexts are backed by one single GL
context on the GPU service side), as this is normall
by passing `jack_detect = no` string
via sysfs or a patch file, you can disable the jack detection, thus
the codec parser will skip the features like auto-mute or mic
auto-switch.
The driver create headphone phantom jack and lineout phantom jack
instead of headphone jack and lineout jack
