not a fix, the language button in the login dialogue is misleading and
broken, and the screen is usually locked due to inactivity which happens
most of the time not for intentional screen lock.

FWIW after various problems trying to get my turbo connected to a local
hotspot here it suddenly started working only to stop working during one
of the landings for OTA11 (I'm not here all the time so I did not notice
it immediately).
The password is 40 characters long and I can no longer get
I think this was a bug that was fixed in plymouth several months ago,
but it's hard to tell without seeing a longer log of your apt output
(/var/log/apt/term.log* should contain the error, and context).
