Last time I built a VM I tried using uvtool instead of vmbuilder or
using an installer ISO directly, and it seemed to go fine. From a
cursory look, it seems like uvt is the current way to build VMs, and the

I can indeed confirm that the referred fix is in 2.4.7-1ubuntu4.11.
Looking back in versions when it got added I found it was already in
2.4.7-1ubuntu4.

That's it! On firejail web page there is statement that this is bug in
PulseAudio 7.0, but it looks like it effects PulseAudio 8.0 also,
getting version by typing: pulseaudio --version
Work-around solution described in your firejail.wordpress.com link fixes
the problem.

vmbuilder completely fails on Quantal due to kernel
Disabling xvideo does fix things, but c10 from that linked freedesktop
bug seems like the most appropriate solution (2c4890001 from xf86-video-
intel https://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video-
intel/commit/?id=2c4890001). I will see if I can build this in a PPA to
test.

I understand the description now, was unclear that the spread was open.
However this seems to be working as intended, as long as the app spread is open
that is the view you will see.

I'm not sure what should happen here, should we treat mouse to be a
*trigger* for desktop mode, but a keyboard to be enough to retain it?
Should the switch to desktop mode be persistent? How would you then

The fix is simply to add 'getsockopt' to the seccomp connected plug
policy and don't bother with seccomp arg filtering (I don't think that
is needed).
