Hi Andrew,
You need to boot to 4.4.0-XX kernel instead of mainline kernel.
The latest mainline kernel is for testing only - you can safely remove
those kernels after testing is done.
To remove mainline kernels, you can run something like this:

I have the same problem. Attempting to link against

eglGetDisplay() still returns EGL_NO_DISPLAY.
Any updates for this on 16.10?
Can I use the above patches to fix the issue?
Thanks.

I don't know of any other method other than to make logind allow this
case as you've suggested. We cannot make Mir sessions runs on different
VTs as that would make USC not work anymore.
There may be an issue running X11 sessions through USC as they wont have
type=mir but will share the same VT..

Well I found a work around for Manjaro/Arch linux... Hope this helps you
guys on Ubuntu.
I had rebooted into my original install ISO USB drive to check something
unrelated and decided to try the BT Headphones on the live ISO, and it
all works perfectly! I can walk between rooms and the A2DP works

Hi Graham, this is unlikely to be an AppArmor issue, the usual results
from AppArmor blocking access to a resource will be a Permission Denied
response rather than Input/Output error.
Just in case I'm wrong though, please paste in any DENIED messages from
AppArmor in your kernel's dmesg buffer.

I'm not sure this is a kernel issue. It appears to be something related
to the evdev driver or how the files in xorg.conf.d are interpreted when
setting up the evdev driver. the "Evdev Wheel Emulation" is "false" even
though my config file xorg.conf.d is trying to set it to "true" - when I
It is not that old and not marked as fixed.
Do you claim that the bug happens even if no kernel updates are being
installed by Software Updater or by e.g. apt, but only by unattended-
upgrades?
