I am reporting this using the most recent auto updated version of the
kernel linux-image-4.4.0-122-generic. But boot also fails on the two
previous auto updated images linux-image-4.4.0-121-generic and linux-
image-4.4.0-119-generic.

Chromium. After i have logged into the Google-Account, i cant start
chromium. I have read the thread, and i understand that you have a fix.
I dont know where and how to insert which code. Is the fix already in

Cinnamon panel /
I just got the unresponsive panel today. Mint 18.3. Left mouse button
would not open any shortcuts to programs or open the main menu. I could
open the main menu with l windows key. I also found that turning of
edit mode fixed it. I must have left it in edit mode after installing
CPU Frequency
The upgrade threw this error and the upgrade did not complete

I triggered this by choosing lvm as the install option, then pressing back when
it informed me about how it will configure the partitions, then selecting
"something else" then creating new partitions on the mapped lvm devices, then

kernel 4.15.0-20, backported to 16.04:
install is okay, BUT no boot (kernel panic); afterwards, the kernel is
uninstallable!
The same behaviour is found with kernel 4.19.0-19 for bionic.
Had to remove the .postinit, .postrm, etc. files in /var/lib/dpkg/info/
in order to be able to use the apt
