I submitted a report.
Nobody touched it for 4 years than asked me to reproduce and set it from New to
Incomplete?
OFG, it's not a surprised, that ubuntu failed in the desktop business.
If someone would have come to me 4 years ago with a request for reproducer, I
would accept it.

It appears the problem is that you have
partially/unsuccessfully/manually installed the Nvidia graphics driver
but it's no longer installed and it has left the 'nomodeset' flag in
your kernel command line:
