I am currently using Cosmic (which is not released yet) and version
0.131ubuntu10 of "initramfs-tools" always generates unbootable initrd.
After I select the kernel to boot during GRUB it says: "Loading initial
ramdisk... Error: Out of memory". And then it halts forever.

Sorry to necro this bug but can someone clarify that as of now, a fresh
16.04 install with the defaults+LVM will *not* fill the /boot partition?

I found that in my situation it was the upgrade not working good with some
config settings in my ~/home. When I was beta testing, I don't think the
Ubuntu developers considered that many problems are associated with
upgrades. Once I did a clean install, this situation was gone.

Dell AW17R3, Skylake i7-6700HQ, nVidia GTX 970M, Thunderbolt USB-C,

Can't paste images into compose
So this is strange, I can reproduce the bug, but an oem install in UEFI
mode works, and a normal install in BIOS mode works, only an oem install
in BIOS mode doesn't work. Which doesn't make any sense at all on the
face of it.

Question - as I was trying to implement the .19 kernel, I ran into issues
that appeared to be linked to Virtual Box. Per the instructions (

Is this with mouse or trackpad?
I only use the trackpad.

Hey Joseph! I just ran one of our machines through our drive power
faulting test. It survived 5 hotplug events without crashing. Usually
it's 100% repro of the crash. Seems to work. Thanks much!
