I checked the new patches between rc3 and rc4, there are only some minor
changes. In theory they will not introduce this problem.
Please test this dkms on the rc4, this dkms contains the same driver as
rc3, let us test kernel-rc4+hda sound driver-rc3 and see if the noise
still happens or not.
The necessary (for systemd-resolvd to work properly) package libnss-
resolve is still not included with Ubuntu 18.04 nor Ubuntu 18.10
installs. Manually adding the package fixed the name resolution
problems on an otherwise unaltered installation using DHCP from a
gateway.

Same problem there, also Dell M4800, I am using latest ubuntu 18.10 and it was
working until I installed latest nvidia-driver-418. I do not why. There is
suspicious message in dmesg.
(If I uninstall the nvidia driver it is still not working and reinstalling of
alsa-driver also did not help.)

If I accidentally press the Super key (or Windows key), it apparently

With 19.04, Intel Corporation 8 Series/C220 Series Chipset High
Definition Audio Controller intermittently is not enabled when resuming
from sleep. The HDMI sound device is enabled but that is not hooked up
