correctly. Maybe something broke on the move to the new dialogue box? Attached

The bug with a long filename was never fixed, it is still here, in version 2.94.
Can be reproduced on a ext4 filesystem, for example with this file:
I use that version of okular all the time with no such issues.
Additionally, if this was a generic problem or one caused by an update,
then it is highly likely there would be multiple reports of this, and I
have not seen that. It sounds very much like some issue specific to your
system.
