@Daniel,
So for lp:#1959888, user confirmed it seems be fixed by nvidia-510. It makes
sense on the patch.
The patch from comment#1 is indeed enable Wayland only if nvidia-510.

Public bug reported:
I am not sure, it just says there is a error installing ubuntu.
ProblemType: Package
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 20.04
Package: libc6 2.31-0ubuntu9.2
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 5.13.0-30.33~20.04.1-generic 5.13.19
Uname: Linux 5.13.0-30-generic x86_64
NonfreeKernelModules: zfs
On Ubuntu 22.04 (fully updated) I started the application twice and
navigated to where I thought an ISO image was located. As I didn't have
one I downloaded a new image, restarted usb-creator and was immediately
met with the 'callable' error.
Very strange that I had an error on start-up

Hello,
From your logs, I see:
Error: Unable to shut down server with process id 26752
This likely makes the issue a duplicate of LP #1899248 which is
currently in progress. If you think this is incorrect
Simply entering my password and pressing return also resolves the issue
Seems that the lock screen is present, but is not visible for some reason.

On today's Kubuntu and Ubuntu daily ISO, the KDE/GTK versions seem to
launch ok.

Switching the display compositor over to Compton also resolves the issue
while xfce4-screensaver is still installed.
