3.12 break colcon argument parsing due to a dependency on private API in
argparse.
A fix has been released in colcon-core 0.16.1 which should be backported
to any platforms which will receive the updated P
Variable sized arrays have fallen out of fashion.
There are various patches like that which fix this issue every time it
crops up.
If you can still reproduce on the latest 6.9-rc kernels you should
report a bug upstream to get the remaining cases fixed. Or if you feel

I would add a vote for having this bug closed. since it has been opened, I have
gone through at least 4 computers, and not had a problem. And of course, sway
and some Ubuntus use wayland.
I will test again in 4 months anyways, when I get my next laptop. Will file a
new bug then if needed.

The legacy dm-raid format does not include a header so it looks like a
raw ext2 to grub and it can "embed" there (as it will see the ext2 on
either disk at boot).

- I am using on-demand feature for nvidia but switching to performance mode

set up through the 24.04 server installer with custom storage layout,

I've observed the same behaviour with Noble installer, and it does
appear to be very counter-intuitive for a user to select "Don't send"
and then be told that their send request failed.
On a related point, the UI appears to block on this network request -
which is probably not necessary - and when
Setting status back to "Incomplete" as there are still discussions
happening and we don't want it to get lost from the MIR report.

Is the RAID on the bare disks, or are there partition tables containing
the RAID?
Also is there a partition table inside the raid, or is it directly
formatted as ext4?
Is LVM used anywhere?

I am testing the 24.04 pre-beta in a libvirt virtual machine with two
/dev/vd* disks set up as a single mirrored software RAID device,
/dev/md0, that is used for the root filesystem. Since this is a libvirt
install, it is using BIOS booting, not UEFI (maybe someday libvirt wil

It is admittedly ironic that you will need an account in Ubuntu One to
report a bug with it, but well, you do already have one so your concerns

While checking out the latest versions of cups (2.4.7-1.2ubuntu4 and

I noticed that cupsd crashes consistently after closing my Firefox tab / window.
The title of the crash (from the bug-report window) is "cupsd crashed with
SIGSEGV in ???()"
