I am still experiencing this bug. I tried to install Ubuntu 10.04 server
on three discs sda, sdb, sdc. They were all partitioned into two primary
partition, 2GB and "rest". I run a boot partition raid1 on the 2GB and a
raid5->encrypted-. >logical volumes on the "rest"-parts.
Everything goes smooth

I have similar problems on 64bit desktop 9.10. When I hit CTRL + ALT +
L, the screen does not lock. But if I wait until the screensaver kicks
in, then the screen locks. Also from that time in the session, the CTRL
+ ALT + L works perfectly. It is like the shortcuts need to learn that
it is really p
I totally agree, OTR is eminent. I can se no reason denying users their
right to privacy. The OTR should work for all communacations within
empathy, text, audio, video, and all protocols.

page in Frefox in the foreground as opposed to in the background which
was the case before I changed the f
I can confirm this bug on two Hardy machines, booth running compiz with
nvidia binary driver. However, it does not happen every time. When it
happens, I only have to move the mouse pointer, and then the screen goes
into a correct black lockdown.

Had the same experience on hardy. I had my sym-linked to a folder under
an nfs-moint, but one time there was a problem mounting, so the Desktop
was a broken link (to the a nfs-folder).
When this happened the file ~/.config/users.dir was either created or
changed and the important variable here was
I have the same experience, using the default theme. Most graphics is
slow (not just tabbing firefox, but clicking menues ...). Changin to an
emerald theme running pixmap engine resolves everything! It makes my
computer light as a feader. No latency, high performance, =).
