I am 100% sure that Windows was installed in EFI mode, but it doesn't
matter anymore. I chose to go with dual boot which I got working. Thanks
for your effort though :)

Just bought a new laptop (HP ZBook 14) with Windows pre-installed with
UEFI. I wanted to remove Windows and clean install Xubuntu,
unfortunately I get the following error message after the installation:
"No bootable image was found." My ZBook 14 has a mSATA SSD 128GB and a

I went back and followed the steps from the compiz website on nvidia,
specifically by adding the lines so my xorg.conf now looks like:
Section "Device"
Identifier "Generic Video Card"
Driver "nvidia"
Busid "PCI:1:0:0"
Option "AddARGB
Just want to note I get this bug too. Geforce Go 6200 running nVidia
driver, and the compiz fusion that came out of the box with Gutsy
Gibbon.
Whenever I alt-tab, sometimes quickly, my title bars completely
disappear, and I have to reboot the X server.
