I was having the same issue until I found a solution. Whenever I tried
to click a link in Slack, the logs in journalctl -f showed:

Yeah, I don't know what happened, but I did a "sudo rm -r" of the
/etc/bind directory, then tried reinstalling and it worked. Everything's
working like a charm now.
