I bought a WiFi USB adapter for that computer. I upgraded 8.04 beta to latest level. Result, now : - Screen-wise, Ubuntu boots normally as it did with 7.04 - My patch is still needed to get 1024*768, though. - And the computer still locks up when the screens blanks. I supposed this is screen power
