I have a pdf file with a few files attached. Some of the attachments are
PDFs, some are not. The PDF attachments are opened Ok, whereas non-PDF
attachments cannot be opened as, seemingly, evince tries to open them by
itself instead of calling appropriate application.

Copy the attached script 01gnome-keyring-daemon.sh into ~/.kde/env
directory.

I have got the same problem after upgrade to Ubuntu 13.04 (kernel
3.8.0-19-generic).
computer : DELL inspiron 15R SE
video: ATI 7730M + INTEL 4000
With old kernel 3.5.0-17 it works normal.
the command
/bin/echo 0 /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness
turns off the backlight

again the script suggested as a work around solves it). Furthermore the
lid switch doesn't suspend the laptop but that's a minor issue. I've

Looks like this bug is much more reproducable when the application
window is half-maximized (keyboard shortcut Ctrl-Alt-KP2 or Ctrl-Alt-KP8).
Reproduces well with both gnome-terminal, firefox, thunderbird ...
apparently any application.

I have observed it with gnome-terminal only, but possibly there are others.

Holding Alt and dragging the window down deserves a separate bug report :(
If I press the workspace switcher, the desktop zooms out, and indeed
looks like the top of the window goes out from below the top panel.
However, this is still bogus - the window should not go under the

Can't
Mouse buttons stopped working after about an hour, but everything goes
fine if I switch app to fullscreen mode (F11). Non-responsive to either
button otherwise.

This is what I get if I run xwininfo on regular window. It is HUD who
takes all the mouse events.
$ xwininfo

I have the same problem on Ubuntu 12.10.
Ubuntu starts only if Nvidia card is turned of in BIOS (Intel card is
selected).
