images with transparency is not a big use case for the app (and only the
ones that are black and transparent would be really an issue), but since
gallery is the "default" app for saving images we would need to fix

In webbrowser we are using a Popover anchored to the address bar to let
the user add/change data for a new bookmarked url. For that we have a
TextField inside the Popover and when it got the focus the keyboard
shows up. When the keyboard is visible the Popover ends up above
Hello Evan. In fact this regression is not arale specific and is

Gallery flickers when going fullscreen

We did some more tests on this issue. It seems that even if the
flickering does happen when we do not use any ubuntu-ui-toolkit it is
worse when we have ManView/Page components. Especially when we hide/show
the header during the process.
Here[0] there is a new branch that shows the problem.
After some tests with sdk team, this does not seem to be an ui-toolkit
issue. The problem still happens if we use only an Item and not the
MainView/Page components. The sample code was updated to show that.

We have a Image component with PreserveAspectRatio set as fillMode
filling all the Page. When the application is going fullscreen / non-
fullscreen on device the Image flickers during the process. Hiding the
header too seems to make the result
Just tested that on nexus 4 with ubuntu-rtm/14.09 image (r17). I am
playing music from html5.grooveshark.com for like 20 minutes over wifi
and I am not able to reproduce the issue. The sound is fine. I did the
same for last vivid image and I cannot reproduce either.

Trying to use the flickable property to make the header locked does not
work as expected with conditional loading components. The attached
sample QML code shows the issue. On the first tab, where the component
is directly loaded, the header is locked and working as expected.
It was requested, during the fix, that displaying the header doesn't
exit the fullscreen mode, to make it work the same way camera does
today. But, unfortunately, it was not documented here.

It seems that when gallery requests the thumbnail for this file, even if
it was generated before, all the process of getting new thumbnails for
gallery collection, or getting pointers for the previous generated ones,
get a lot of time to complete. That seems to be the reason why all the
thumbnails
