Hi, I also recently started using proxy auto configuration (PAC) script
to configure my proxy setting in the new project environment. The
crashing keeps happening until I connect to internet. After I am
connected the reload button successfully restores clock and it works
rock solid all day long.
As I am a frequent traveler I think it would make more sense to put
location related info into locale settings and not language. I do not
want to write a huge article, but it is pretty obvious that not everyone
in Lithuania is speaking Lithuanian, but they would still print on A4

My Bluetooth mouse is lagging to on even average wireless traffic on
Lenovo T400. And this is easy to reproduce for me, just start
transmission over wireless and once traffic is about 200 - 300 KBps the
mouse is useless. I am using Ubuntu 9.10.

Karmic: Button clicks do not fire.
This bug was opened about 6 months ago. Now I have moved to 9.10. I do
not even remember this bug. And I have not encountered anything similar
in 9.10. So I removed myself from affected list, since I can not really
help in solving this bug anymore.

I have tried http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~rtg/2.6.28-lp348836 kernel. It
have NOT solved the problem. Also I am convinced that what I am having
is a bug 330824, because freeze happens seconds after deleting a bunch
of files. I can delete files, but if hang happens then it is always
after deletion.
gpk:
I am still suspecting this might be ext4 related. Could you remove ext4
volumes from fstab (since they are unused) and work for a day stressing
a system.
Having another system with Ext4 and being stable yet does not prove
anything. You see I also have another desktop configured the same as
I have exactly the same issue like Martin on my T42 laptop.
RAM: 2GB
VIDEO: RADEON 9600
DISK: 60GB LVM2-EXT4
KERNEL: 2.6.28-11-generic
Unfortunately I can not reproduce the freezes they are quite random. I
get no response from machine. The only thing that blinks is bluetooth
indicator when I
And I also forgot to mention that there is nothing in the logs and that
I am obviously using open-source ATI driver :)

My colleague has the same T42. The also has jaunty with LVM2, but

like a charm, but somewhere about a month ago after some updates things
went wrong. If video playback is paused and played again the sound is

I can not reproduce it any more. Looks like it was fixed after some
updates. Anyway it was happening only if video is played with gxine. So
probably it was a gxine issue. But it is not happening any more so I
have marked it as invalid. Sorry for disturbing.
