Still seeing this on Maverick 64-bit exactly as originally described. Fresh install, install nfs-common, try sudo mount -t nfs4 myserver.local:/mymount /mylocalmount, get mount.nfs4: No such device. Do sudo modprobe nfs, try again, works perfectly. -- Need to modprobe nfs module before mounting

Have you tried setting the connexion for all users, as suggested in the previous comment? At least, that makes this serious limitation less problematic. That's true, I guess. But the fact that I have to install something other than NetworkManager for the second user to manage the connection (I'm

amuraco, your deb intstalls with --force-architecture on Intrepid 64-bit, but the spim console doesn't appear to do anything (for example, nothing happens when I type exit or ?), and xspim looks like the attachment. ** Attachment added: xspim.png

Weird... when I compiled spim/xspim myself, they errored out with input in flex scanner failed. But when I installed amuraco's .deb (which didn't work for the different reasons above), then redid sudo make install over the top of that, suddenly the spim console and xspim both worked. I can't

2007-12-19 Thread Ben Beasley
I had never tried that before, but I can confirm that I can only use up and down arrows to navigate this view, not right and left. I'm using Gnome and Gutsy (7.10). The thing is, the left and right arrows are mapped as seek back / seek forward shortcuts in Amarok, so they're not available to

I had the same problem and reached the same conclusion as spadger. Now that I have disabled the shortcut in Enhanced Zoom Desktop, Win+C currently works only when Amarok has focus. However, I assume it will become global again after a reboot. I'll report back later if this is not the case. Looks
