So I'm sorry to report that after about 50 days of uptime on qemu-kvm
(1.0+noroms-0ubuntu14.3) I had 3 VMs out of ~60 in my cluster drop off
the network. It happened on different host machines, so it's not a
single machine in the cluster that's a problem.

X60). No longer hides panel or keyring password prompt at login.

This is more of a general config problem with compiz. On my system it
is not enabled by default, but after it is enabled there is no way to
change the behavior of some keys.
If I enable "Normal" under Visual Effects, it sets the Alt-F1 keybinding
to "Show the panel menu".
