I think that empathy needs to be told to not send old messages to the

involve a check to see if a window's already open, but I'm assuming this

I'm still not convinced this is an empathy issue. Seems more of a theme
issue or a GTK issue. If anything it should be forwarded upstream so
that someone can take a look and we can go from there.

and see if this helps. Did you get this problem right after a
distribution upgrade?
