addressed this with empathy developers, and the only workaround is to
move all contacts int

default action of ubuntu reports to come here. 80% of the time they
will be issues that are not related to something that we've done here in
Ubuntu but something thats happened with the upstream code. It's not

unchecking the box for use SSL allows pidgin to work. I wonder if
empathy not being able to login to AIM is because it's using SSL by
