@tjaalton: Tried unsuccessfully to boot your kernel. I'm using disk encryption and it never prompts me to decrypt the disk. Just keeps outputting a warning about failing to connect to lvmetad (I didn't copy it down). I do get the same warning on other kernels that boot correctly but only once.
