Desktop image for 64-bit PC (AMD64) computers (standard download)) ,
burnt it to a USB then booted to it.
No problems occurred and the original problems that caused me to raise
this bug did not occur.

I wil try and get a backtrace but will be away for a week.
As far as I can recall, flash is present on pages that freeze ( I've
started keeping a log). I've been a bit dubious about it because it

Binary package hint: firefox
Clicking on a flash window is the most recent cause but there have been
others. The problem is Firefox just instantly disappears so it is hard
to remember exactly where the mouse was and what I was doing. Sorry.
