[Bug 1857020] [NEW] Please update to latest upstream (1.8.3)

2019-12-19 Thread Carlos Laviola
Public bug reported: In the version currently available in Ubuntu, I am not able to access a certain remote console applet I need, whereas in the latest upstream it works flawlessly. Since this version is already available in Debian unstable as well, hopefully it shouldn't be much of an issue.

[Bug 1725955] Re: "Printer added" notification

2019-10-31 Thread Carlos Laviola
This started happening to me after I upgraded from Ubuntu 19.04 to 19.10. Now I get a steady spam of pop-ups and the only thing in the logs that seems related are colord messages like the one from #6: out 31 13:08:47 maragogi colord[1784]: failed to get session [pid 19534]: No data available out

I'm affected by this issue and do have 2FA enabled, but using an app specific password did not fix the issue. I still get frequent popups. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1726922 Title:

Still unsupported as of 16.04 and yakkety for my hardware (Dell Latitude E7270). The workaround involves replacing "/lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA6174/hw3.0/board.bin" with a version from Killer Networking's website, as per: http://www.killernetworking.com/product-support/knowledge-base/17-linux The

2016-07-13 Thread Carlos Laviola
FWIW, I tried most things suggested here and elsewhere, like replacing all the QCA6174 firmware files with what is in https://github.com/kvalo /ath10k-firmware and upgrading to the yakkety version of linux-firmware (1.158 as of the moment). Even with all that, in order for wifi to work on my

Public bug reported: I can't type the forward slash (/) and question mark (?) characters anywhere in keepass2, including when typing new logins/passwords. I've also noticed that the key bindings for Copy Password (Ctrl-C) and Perform Auto-Type (Ctrl-V) are switched around. ProblemType: Bug

Your problem looks a lot like one I ran into using the debian-multimedia versions of the libavcodec51 and libavformat52 packages: http://bugs.donarmstrong.com/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=483000 Try checking and downgrading if applicable. Don't forget to erase ~/.vlc/cache/plugins-*.dat as suggested

2007-04-24 Thread Carlos Laviola
I'm experiencing the same problem on feisty. Insert DVD. It starts playing automatically thanks to autoplay. Close totem. Start totem. Go to Movie - Play Disc foo. Receive the following error: Totem cannot play this type of media (DVD) because you do not have the appropriate plugins to handle
