OK, it seems that this bug is related to Samba, uptime is now 43 days. I
tracked everything down I've changed and the last thing was a downgrade
back to samba-3.0.25b, As far as I remembered the lockups were coming
close to when I upgraded samba to 3.0.28a (self compiled). However to be

Same with 8.04 LTS Server AMD64 CD,
I have booted from my 2nd DVD Drive (/dev/hdd) and in my first Drive
(/dev/hdc) there was another CD, suddendly during the install process
the installer complained that there is a wrong CD in the drive

I do not think this is a duplicate, because USB was working for me, I do
