After installing debug symbols, running silc from gdb I produced a

Thank you for the update. I assume your contact list is fine now. For
the chess game: Most proprietary instant messaging systems like ICQ and
Yahoo provide features in their own clients which cannot yet be
supported by third party messangers like pidgin. I will mark this bug as
invalid as this
