Since I installed Gutsy on my Toshiba P100-284, I don't have sound.
On Feisty it perfectly works with a custom DSDT (known bug in bios).
On Gutsy with the same custom DSDT, it doesn't work. I also tried with the
lasts drivers alsa, with the patches of Chris.

Unfortunately, I don't know precisely after which update it appeared, it was
approximately three or four weeks ago... I think that was after a gnome-themes
update before the 2.18 release.
But I didn't updated gnome-color-chooser since I use Feisty and two months ago,
I haven't this little bug.

I don't use anymore this laptop ( screen broken...) but I 'll try
tomorrow or next week-end an upgrade with the remaining half of the
screen and I'll tell you.
However, with feisty and a Toshiba P100-* I don't have this problem (but
I don't know if it would have had it with edgy).

I have also a freeze with Braid screensaver on a Nvidia Geforce Go 7600, the
Nvidia drivers and an i686 architecture.
I can see the first second of the screensaver (in thumbnail or full screen),
then the system freezes. It freezes only with Beryl or Compiz and theses
drivers.
