My hardware: ATI HD 3200. I can confirm this bug, and I can confirm the workaround. Switching users from the User Switcher panel applet DOES WORK instead of using the Indicator panel applet. What a damn annoying bug ! It cost me a few reboots until I figured it out. -- [RS480] black screen
