It fails with CD-R or CD-RW media, i don't know how to provide more information
about error, if i run nautilus-cd-burner from console, it doesn't show any
information and also fails.
With all other burning programs works perfectly as k3b or brasero.
My drive is BenQ DD DW1620.

Many users have confirmed the same bug to me, in KDE, Gnome, XFCE, using xorg
7.2 and ATI or NVIDIA cards with: totem, kaffeine, kdetv and tvtime.
In Guadalinex v4 (based on Ubuntu Edgy) the error doesn't occur, i still
couldn't test in authentic Ubuntu Edgy.

If i have a video player playing in a secondary gnome o KDE desktop, and I drop
to a shell by Ctrl Alt F1, when i come back to X session by Ctrl Alt F7, X
server crash and restart suddenly.

burn them, doesn't do it well, usually fails at terminating burning process and
it say Select a minor speed but i am sure that speed is correct.

ATI Radeon 9250 doesn't have 3D acceleration on Ubuntu 7.10
With Kernel 2.6.22-6-generic
I have tested radeon and ati drivers.
In Feisty works with both of them.
Paste info from 'lspci':

After installing this library, acceleration has been enabled.
May be you should install this library by default.

Ubuntu Live CD can't start booting from CD drive PHILIPS PCRW804.
Alternate CD fails when looking for instalation media.
Not only any version of Ubuntu, any Linux distribution can start a Live System
or install from this drive.
They fail to reach the distribution file
I paste system message when trying to mount:

missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful info is found in

The same problem again with a full updated Kubuntu Feisty version.
I use driver ati in xorg, if i set vesa driver, the problen doen't happen,
but using always vesa driver is not a solution.

The problem also desappears if I deactivate usplash and if I erase 'splash'
boot option in kernel. The problem is relationed with graphic driver and splash
screen.
My graphics card is Radeon 9250 and its optimal driver is ati or radeon on
xorg, and with both of them the problem occur.

Yes, i think it is the same bug.
The bug is present on KDE 3.5.5 of Debian Etch and also in KDE 3.5.6 of Kubuntu
Feisty Fawn.
I only have tested the bug in these two linux distributions and KDE versions.
