Xserver freezes. If I try get back to work with mouse or keyboard, the
display shows a frozen screensaver. I can change to a tty session

I also have this issue. It is really annoying because the clock also
freezes, and a lost the time! :-/
I have noticed, until now, that this happens only when the panel is in the not
expanded mode.
However, I will work the next days in the expanded mode to make sure this is

Same here. Upgraded from Ubuntu 10.04 to 10.10 (beta) amd64, and managed
Rhythmbox was not
playing any thing, and it was not even adding files to the reproduction list.
So, I disabled the plugin
Ubuntu One Music Store, then now the player is working fine.
