This issue has resurfaced for me in Lucid Lynx. The sound icon is back
in the system tray (also a keyboard layout icon both of) which I want
removed. There is no longer a gnome-volume-control-applet in

I think I am experiencing the same thing. In a 64bit jaunty
installation. I cannot move any windows they all open and stay in the
top left corner. Alt + tab does not work. All the borders are gone so
windows cannot be resized, minimized or maximized. I am able to switch

would like to be able to search only ubuntuforums.org not the whole internet

Anyone know how to file a bug against this in wodim or wobbling? Neither
are familiar to me.

launchpad does not know they are marked as fixed upstream and returns

I have done that upstream and thought a placeholder here was a good
idea. I don't know if there is any reason for a bug here anyway
