To be 100% sure (and not wasting developer cycles), I reinstalled my system
with Linux Mint 19.1. I had modified (too) many files trying to solve the
problem, so better start clean. The problem was 100% reproducible as per my
previous messages.

CanHibernate results initially in "yes" but hibernation actually fails and
results in a locked screen.

Crashes when
Since the last upgrade of the php7.0-gd package the workaround with the
old version doesn't work perfectly anymore.
Using the new php7.0-gd with the old libgd3 creates bad borders on some images.
With the current libgd3 this behavior doesn't appear, but the strange
background isn't fixed yet.

The version of php-gd or the php version itself (5.6, 7.0 from main or

into 100% CPU-Usage.

I just installed Beta 2 and my CRT flickered because the refresh rate
was incorrect. Installation included the NVIDIA driver. Display settings
showed that the monitor is unknown. I removed the NVIDIA driver. After
reboot everything was fine, refresh rate was good and the monitor was
recognized.

Fresh install of 10.4 32-bit Gnome on an Acer Aspire One netbook. The
wireless interface becomes disabled when the machine suspends or is
rebooted. Once the interface is enabled again, all of the wireless
settings are missing.

I can vouch for this. My girlfriend's Packard Bell EasyNote does exactly
the same thing. I tested it with the Ubuntu 9.10 Beta LiveCD and she
still has that problem. You keep getting asked for the password. She's
had this problem with Intrepid and Jaunty too.

I received this error while trying to establish a database for the
installation. mysql 5.0.75 was running ok. The installation script

Hi All,
I downloaded the Jaunty release image yesterday and played with the live
cd today. The first boot gave me the MAC in deep sleep entry in dmesg
and the second boot gave the power saturation level -1, less than
expected entry in output from dmesg.

I have the same problem with the wireless only working on some boots. I
get the power saturation level -1, less than expected enrty in the
dmesg log when it doesn't work. Does anyone know what exactly this means
with regards to the wireless controller? Could this problem be caused by
My girlfriend is experiencing the same problem. The network manager
applet keeps asking the password and dmesg shows many timeout events.
She is running Ubuntu 8.10 32-bit with a Intel 3945 Pro Wireless. I
tried installing the PPA packages for network manager but it did not
work.
