Hi. Sorry for the long delays in answering your messages. I am quite a
lazy QA. As I have said before the issue is no longer the same on my
machine. The splash looks good and gets corrupted a little only at the
time the completed progress bar turns into logon screen. And it really

the systems boots the progress bar and the logo look good. Yet when the
progress bar goes to the end and right before showing the login screen

I've got a similar situation - my Scroll Lock always shows alternative

Here is the X log file with the conf renamed. See attached.

there is no free space in there. Even my 17.7 GB root partition looks
like it has only 764Mb of free space while I did not copy anything huge
