I'm quite sure you've quit Xfce with nautilus running, and saved the session.
Try to backup your ~/.cache/sessions folder, remove it and then restart Xfce
(without saving the session). This should fix the bug.

The package in debian has been fixed thanks to a new fontconfig package. The
change in edgy wasn't possible in october (edgy was frozen).

I don't think that the hardware was the source of the problem, since
I've installed the final iso with the same cdrw and the same cd drive.

I think that it's related to Bug #47834. You need to use the kiosk mode
to not let users shut down the server. IIRC it doesn't work fine in

The path becomes /usr/lib/thunar-archive-plugin/ in the xarchiver 0.4
debian package (which should be synced very soon). It also needs a fix
in thunar-archive-plugin, which should use the same path.
