I'm having a problem with font spacing in urxvt. All characters seem to
have excessive white-space in between each other. I use DejaVu Sans Mono
(size 8) and there is a big difference between xterm and urxvt.

With default system font settings i.e. full hinting and sub-pixel
highlighting, using QT4 apps like Opera, by default, there a large
inconsitancies between the font rendering. Largley, they are rendered
without hinting and look plain ugly.

I would just like to add that I thought p7zip-full's description stating
it could handle RAR was misleading. None of the RAR files I have
encountered are RAR 2, so perhaps it would be worth mentioning that it
only works (without p7zip-rar) on older RAR files.

I have the same issue. No kde4 system sounds. And sound works fine
otherwise. I just upgraded from Gutsy where the system sounds worked
fine.

I can confirm the bug.I have the same wireless card (intel 3945). I can
see clearly the amount of ram used by networkmanager growing steadily,
about 80-100K every 30 seconds. Needless to say after one night, the
amount of ram is a lot. It was using over 300 megs earlier today.

At the moment, I unload and reload the modules at boot time by turning
off/on the wireless using the button on the front of the laptop.
The novell bugzilla shows the issue has been solved in a new version of

Confirmed here (7.10), using Human Theme triggers the bug. Switching to
another theme, adding the mixer panel and then switching back to Human
has worked for me

When using an Audio CD in Xubuntu Gutsy, the file manager will not
mount the drive correctly, data CD's however, are mounted as normal.
The error shows:
Failed to mount Audio CD. Unknown error. Cannot mount volume. Invalid
mount option when attempting to mount the volume.

Okay, so the workspace bug doesn't seem to be a bug after all.
I was experiencing that because of how Compiz handles workspaces
differently. make sure you have only 1 workspace set in gnome which
will give you 4 viewports default in beryl

I'm not sure if it is actually crashing or not and haven't yet installed
those other packages you describe, but I recorded a short video that
trys to explain it abit better.
I loaded Pidgin because clicking in a Guifications pop-up is the only
way I've found to return back to the original

Ok, after following the wiki, I installed yelp-dbgsym (also installing
the firefox and yelp dependancies - I really wish yelp didnt depend on
Firefox - I have no use for firefox on my system).
I've re-attached a backtrace, although it doesn't look any different
than before. What am I doing wrong?

When I login, the bottom panel is automatically hidden. When I click
(anywhere), the panel is restored. Then when I try changing workspace
(by clicking in the switcher), the desktop crashes and I'm left with
just the desktop background.
