Had the same issue... and was missing /opt.
Swapping the lines would also create /opt/drbl ... such that the ln
command fails with "ln: /opt/drbl: cannot overwrite directory"
Adding "mkdir /opt" would solve it ... but it's supposed to exist on a
normal system ... right?

The profile selection is not affected by the uilocale option. After
selecting a profile firefox starts in the desired language.

I can confirm that an extension can have this effect.
I saw this with https://addons.mozilla.org/en-
US/thunderbird/addon/quickarchiver/
When I disable the extra column it adds the scroll speed is back to
normal.

I've retested this after an upgrade to 10.10 on two computers (one in
the default English, the other in Dutch).
The problems have morphed a bit, but not disappeared unfortunately.
Both systems have the problem that when you press the help button in the
'Keyboard Preferences' window no help
The author has on 2009-11-05 already set this as fixed for the
soundkonverter (Ubuntu) part

For some reason lame --decode is not able to make sense of a few mp3 files in a
set of dozens.
I've since managed to convert the failed files manually with audacity, and
