I've retested this after an upgrade to 10.10 on two computers (one in the default English, the other in Dutch).
The problems have morphed a bit, but not disappeared unfortunately. Both systems have the problem that when you press the help button in the 'Keyboard Preferences' window no help opens. And as an extra service the 'Keyboard Preferences' window also closes. When I open the help system by pressing F1 on e.g. the desktop the 'Ubuntu Help Center' opens OK. But when I try to search for 'Keyboard Preferences' the correct page is also not found. The way I did eventually find the correct help page was through hitting F1 in the 'Ubuntu Help Center', which opens the 'Yelp Help Browser'. In there was an index on the right side which contained the page under Configuring Your Desktop -> 8.4. Hardware -> 8.4.1. Keyboard Preferences. I fear that a normal user who would need this documentation would never find it. -- Keyboard Preferences help https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/394493 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
