I can confirm this exact same problem with Ubuntu 21.10 live DVD in a
Dell Inspiron N4110, a Dell Latitude E5430 with 16gb of ram, and an Acer
Predator AG3610 with 6GB of RAM.I tried redownloading the media and
burning to a different DVD brand on a different burner and got the same
result.

(although the acquire preview button IS there - you just can't see it).
